Jada Fitch, originally from Sebago Maine, graduated from the Maine College of Art with a bachelors degree in illustration in 2006 at the age of 22. Her work is very adaptable, and can easily be applied to book illustration, children’s illustration, magazine and editorial illustration, advertising, poster and album design, greeting cards, t shirt design, logo, as well as fine art. She works mainly in pen & ink, coloring mostly in Photoshop, and occasionally watercolor. Themes that she most enjoys drawing are sci fi/ fantasy based, or nature/ animal themed. She enjoys researching subject matter before starting a piece and spends a lot of time watching nature shows. She moved to the Los Angeles area in 2006 in search of more illustration opportunities, but decided that Maine suits her better is now living back in Portland.
